Bryan Clement, Luxury Travel Advisor at Accent On Travel

After graduating from the University of Utah with a degree in Travel & Tourism and enjoying my time on the slopes, I moved back to the East Coast. In between trips, as a sports fan, I work on my goal of seeing some of our country's best sports arenas so I have seen a great deal of the US as well.

When given the opportunity, you will find me on a river cruise through Europe, visiting Alaska once again, exploring new destinations, or touring the newest ships afloat. My favorite cruise lines are Regent Seven Seas, Oceania Cruises, Holland America Line, Celebrity, Royal Caribbean, Princess, Viking, and Uniworld Boutique River Cruises.

What do you love about travel?

Travel is in my blood, so each year I head to a new destination in the Caribbean or on a cruise ship for a fun-filled vacation. I like taking the time to learn about you as an individual. I am happy to design the unique and memorable vacation you have always dreamed of.

What has been your favorite trip?

I have visited Alaska several times, both by sea and land. My favorite was a few years ago - I started in Fairbanks and had dinner on the waterfront. The trip was full of sightseeing, wildlife photo ops, guided hikes, scenic rail journeys, evenings around a fire pit, and even an all-inclusive lodge stay.

After a few nights, we boarded the shuttle and headed back to the train station. We then continued south on the Alaska rail toward Anchorage before heading to Seward - the most scenic leg of the trip. At one point, the train had to slow to a crawl because a moose was trotting along the train tracks!

After arriving in Seward, we boarded our cruise ship to start the second half of our adventure. The cruise ship offered a variety of activities, but my favorite was lectures given by park rangers about what we were seeing and the history of the land. The day cruising around Glacier Bay was by far the stand-out experience of the Alaska Inside Passage cruise.

Our cruise ship stopped in several ports along the way. I have some incredible pictures from the whale-watching excursion in Juneau. Since we were on a small boat that maybe held 30 guests, we could get up close to the whales, sea lions, and dolphins.
