When Annette first met Rick, both held a passion for travel. In 1989, the same year they got married, the pair took over a struggling small travel agency in Towson, MD. They converted that business into the wonderful success that Accent on Travel is today, now with headquarters in Rehoboth Beach, DE, a branch office in Wilmington DE, and full-time professional travel advisors throughout the Mid Atlantic area.
After visiting over 120 countries many over 30 times and sailing on over 82 different cruise ships, traveling is still their passion. They expanded the travel planning services of the company bringing in exceptionally talented professional travel advisors, connecting with the best and most reputable travel suppliers in the world, and upgraded technology to offer clients mobile itineraries and cruise price decrease alerts. Both they and their team of expert travel advisors serve as professional hosts on Accent on Travel’s Hosted Journeys and Cruises. This has allowed them to provide a service where the value of professional expertise is truly felt by new travelers and returning patrons who choose to use Accent on Travel time and again.
